Reviews

I love to read blogs, but over the last few years there has been talk about bloggers sacrificing their integrity for pay (or products). Sometimes it’s not disclosed whether they have paid for what they’re using or reviewing, and in some cases, the reviews of products that they’re given are biased towards the positive BECAUSE the items were given to them gratis.

My promise to you, my readers, are fair and balanced reviews, because integrity is *everything* and you deserve honest opinions and transparency when it comes to how review items are sourced. You'll always know what I have paid for and what was sent to me by the company.

While I try to be a tactful person (generally), if something doesn’t live up to my standards, I’ll say so. I think it's important to be polite, but honesty reigns supreme here at Better Than Yarn.
 

You'll know it's a review, because it will have be tagged as a "fair and balanced review", and bear the following in the header:

Product: [NAME]

Product Description: [DESC. OF MATERIALS]

Bought from: [STORE/WEBSITE]

Price/Gift: [$X]

Comments: [INSERT INSIGHTFUL REVIEW]
