Flattery will get you EVERYWHERE

When I get a few spare minutes, I read blogs. Imagine my surprise when I read Lisa's post about her trip (a while back) to the Asian Art Museum in SF. I was pleasantly surprised to have embodied one/some of the wrathful deities in this picture:

RAWR!

If you go through and read the bit about the wrathful deities, maybe she's not so far off.

But you know what they say: Looks can be deceiving... or can they?

  1. To complete the iconography of a righteous wrathful buddhist deity, you should be standing on an evil demon writhing under one foot, with the other foot raised presumably to stomp on the next one. Many things may be held in the hands, but deadly daggers seem popular among wrathful deities.

Now is it possible for me to get a perm on top of my henna so I can be righteously wrathful too?

  2. Where did you get that color hair? My husband begs me to get my hair dyed that color. I love it on you!
